“In my family, nobody has lived up to 80 years” – He reveals why Obi Cubana mother burial was very special

Famous Nigerian entrepreneur and influential figure Obinna Oyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, recently revealed that, historically, no member of his family has lived to be 80 years old. He further revealed why Obi Cubana mother burial was a special one.

The billionaire said his late mother made valiant efforts to break the generational jinx, but unfortunately, she was unable to do so as she passed away at the age of 79.

Obi Cubana made this known during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwu, he said that his family chose to host an extravagant funeral ceremony for his mother because they believed that she had done her best to break the generational jinx that had been affecting their family by leaving up to 79 and half a year.

He said: “In my family, nobody has lived up to 80 years, and I’m saying this for the first time. My father died at 66, my grandmother died at 75, my grandfather died at 78, and it ran through to my mom who died at 79 and a half”

The socialite revealed that his family had saved so much to throw a kind of funeral ceremony that had never ever been seen for his mother, who was already on the verge of breaking the jinx before she finally gave up.

He mentioned that despite the fact that she could not reach 80 years, it was still important to give her an extravagant funeral ceremony because she had made the most concerted effort to break the jinx.
